ANGELBUNNIES Corp. was established in 2026 to support the creative activities of author Otaro Maijo and to manage intellectual property rights related to his works. The company also handles inquiries concerning the use and licensing of his works and other rights-management matters.
Otaro Maijo made his literary debut in 2001 with Smoke, Soil or Sacrifices, which won the 19th Mephisto Prize. In 2003, Asura Girl won the 16th Mishima Yukio Prize. He later published JORGE JOESTAR to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Hirohiko Araki’s JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. He is the author of numerous books. His other creative work includes original concepts for manga such as BiORG Trinity and Tsukiyo no Gourmet, the Japanese translation of American author Thom Jones’s Cold Snap, and work as original creator, scriptwriter and director on the short animated films The Dragon Dentist and Hammerhead. He has also written for the animated series ID:INVADED and Special Kid Factory.
